JOB DESCRIPTION

In this position you will be responsible to understand the logic and functionality behind CNC machines to provide information in proper sequence in an increasingly automated environment. In addition you will be assisting in programing maintenance and troubleshooting to support the closed-loop process.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience as operator of a CNC machine
  • Profound knowledge of 5-axis CNC programming in CAM Environment with Siemens NX or Autodesk Power Mill
  • Profound knowledge of Programming Lathes or Multi Spindle machines in Siemens NX is considered a strong asset
  • Strong experience in manufacturing – preferred in hard turning and milling – to define how to split manufacturing in Roughing and Finishing
  • Ability to read and understand GD&T symbols and CAD drawings
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Basic, C# and C++ would be an advantage
  • Basics of CAD preferred in Siemens NX
  • Strong Team Player
  • Confirmed Level in English; German would be a strong asset
  • Strong Communication skills – both verbally and written
  • Proficient with computers and MS Office including Outlook
  • Knowledge in Lean manufacturing is considered as a plus

Responsibilities
  • Generate the CNC programs for our Hard mill and Hard turning machines
  • Generate the Model and CNC Programs for Electrodes
  • Work closely with Process Planning and Manufacturing Department to identify the best strategy for manufacturing
  • Maintenance and adjustments of existing automations
  • Creation of CAM environment for new machines
