We are expanding our team and looking for a talented and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic workforce.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for a variety of machines, including lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, possess an eye for detail, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a CNC Programmer at Machine Plus LLC, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production and timely delivery of parts to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, or multi-axis machines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam), G-code programming, and machine tool operation.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC machine capabilities, cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and tooling selection.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models with a high level of precision.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or certification in CNC programming or related fields is a plus.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to programming, machine setup, or part quality; collaborate with the machinists and operators for solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in processes, tooling, and machine programming to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation, including revision control, machine setup sheets, and tooling records.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations and troubleshoot any issues in real-time.
