QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience as a CNC programmer, specifically with milling processes.
  • Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (GibbsCam preferred) and CNC machine setup.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Quote new parts from customer prints by determining material requirements and accurately assessing feeds, speeds, cycle times, tooling and fixturing requirements, and
  • Develop and optimize CNC milling programs based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, tooling changes, and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
