Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index. Responsibilities Program, set-up, operate and maintain the machines in department simultaneously. Work from production orders to perform designated operations. Understand process improvement, component identification, material identification and inventory issues. Reduce lead times and follow Kanban Process. Download and adjust part programs with wear and geometry offsets. Responsible for bar stock put away and disposal of waste chips. Maintain coolant and all oil levels on machines. Follow work order, blueprint and standard instructions during machine setup. Change collets, tool inserts, tool blocks and tool holders. Assist with training of other operators. Read and understand manufacturing drawings. Program Milling machines and Lathes to manufacture customer components. Develop CNC programs for production runs and ensure that the information is correctly saved. Maintain tooling data base. Make manual program adjustments when required. Eliminate non-value added activities. Maintain safe work environment by following company safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
