CNC PROGRAMMER - PREMIER MOTORSPORTS COMPANY

Location: Onsite in Santa Clarita, CA
Duration: 1-Year Contract (Possible 1-Year Extension)
Weekly Pay: $1,442.31 - $1,923.08 DOE
About the Role: Are you passionate about precision engineering and high-performance manufacturing? This technical role is central to creating complex parts that fuel elite performance vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of CAD-CAM CNC programming experience
  • Proficient with Mastercam and Fanuc controllers
  • Strong expertise in close-tolerance machining and machine setup procedures
  • Solid experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis methods and fixture design
  • Skilled in project planning under tight deadlines with high quality standards
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Vericut and Mazatrol is a plus
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experienced in creating technical documentation and interpreting inspection data

Responsibilities
  • Program and develop multi-axis tool paths using Mastercam for CNC machining
  • Design and build tooling, fixtures, and machining processes for cast and billet components
  • Create manufacturing solutions based on 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Support 3+2 axis machining; full 5-axis programming not required
  • Select and optimize cutting tools for high-precision work
  • Lead and guide engineering teams in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) practices
  • Apply lean principles to continuously improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Interpret GD&T drawings and utilize precision measuring instruments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across departments to execute production plans
  • Document and interpret technical and inspection reports
  • Create CAD models for fixtures and tooling
  • Evaluate and refine machining processes for complex part production
