SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer well versed in cutting various types of metal’s, including all types of Stainless Steel, Hi temp alloys and hi nickel alloys to join our team in Derby VT. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to provide top-notch manufacturing solutions by programming CNC machines to produce intricate components that meet our clients’ specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machines including lathes and milling machines.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to create precise machining instructions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs for manufacturability.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of programs and processes.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with expertise in Fanuc systems.
  • Strong understanding of CNC lathe and milling machine operations.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and CAD software (MasterCam 2D and 3D).
  • Ability to create and machine 3D models with surfacing
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements.
