Join one of the UK’s leading Structural Insulated Panel (SIPs) manufacturers and play a key role in our growing team. As a CNC Programmer / Operator, you will be responsible for driving the programming function, supporting production efficiency, and contributing to the continuous development of our manufacturing processes.
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong technical skills and a proactive approach, who is eager to develop their expertise and help shape this important function within the business.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Alphacam (essential), with experience in AutoCAD and HSB CAD considered a strong advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of CNC programming techniques and machining principles.
  • Hands-on CNC machining experience.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Excellent listening, questioning, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail.
  • IT literate, with competence in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum 3 years’ CNC programming experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and efficient Alphacam programs for all production requirements, ensuring cost-effective manufacturing of SIPs components.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support tool programming and integration across the business.
  • Work closely with factory floor teams to deliver programming solutions for project requirements.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels within the business, as programming is a key function within the design department.
  • Contribute to the development of new manufacturing methods and play an active role in shaping the future of the programming function.
