CNC Programmer Assistant - Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting layouts, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. - 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
We are open to training candidates who possess knowledge of AutoCAD and blueprint reading.

Duties

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and set up machines in accordance
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software
• Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
• Chooses cutting tools that will be needed
• Analyzes job order and perform necessary calculations
• Monitor processes to make sure they follow instructions and successfully complete the task.
• Determines sequence of operations in a program
• Comprehend product design into computer modelling software
• Determines reference points and direction of machine cutting paths
• Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation Package:

• Hourly pay
• Overtime pay
• Employer pays 50% of single coverage Health Insurance Premium
• 1 week vacation 1st year and 2 weeks after 1 year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends

Experience:

• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Required)
• CNC programming: 1 year (Required)
• AutoCAD: 1 year (Required)
• Time management: 1 year (Preferred)
