CNC OPERATOR & CAD TECHNICIAN

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 (with overtime as required)

The Role: We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated CNC Programmer & operator to take ownership of our CNC operations and support the workshop with CAD design. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal onboarding.

CNC Operations

• Operate and maintain our Man-Tech Apollo CNC machine (including basic routine maintenance).
• Program toolpaths using Vectric V-Carve or similar CAM software.
• Ensure the CNC room is clean, tidy, and well-organised.
• Manage and maintain cutter inventory to avoid supply issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CNC-related issues efficiently.

CAD Design & Workshop Support

• Create your own CAD drawings (using SketchUp or similar) based on design briefs - Not essential but would help.
• Collaborate with the carpentry team to ensure drawings are build-ready.
• Support set building and carpentry tasks when needed, particularly during busy periods.
• Assist with occasional on-site installations or setups as required.
