Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. This is a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of components.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and software
- Familiarity with operating milling machines and other related equipment
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
