CNC Programmer Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role requires expertise in CNC programming, operation, and mechanical processes. Proficiency in CAD software, including Aspire, Mastercam, and SolidWorks, as well as familiarity with Mazatrol and lathe machines, is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in Aspire, Mastercam, and SolidWorks is required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with lathes, mills, and Mazatrol systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mazatrol, Aspire, Mastercam, and SolidWorks.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to ensure high-quality production.
  • Assemble, fabricate, and weld components as required.
  • Use measuring tools like calipers to verify product dimensions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve processes and implement new technologies.
  • Maintain documentation for programs, settings, and production runs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Train junior staff in CNC operations and programming.
