JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating HAAS CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Operator will work closely with Team Leader to ensure that all products meet the required standards. EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years of proven experience as a CNC Setup Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Operating CNC machines, particularly with HAAS control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes including milling, turning, and drilling.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools in a safe manner.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and using skills with attention to detail in executing specifications accurately.
  • Knowledge of measuring with instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer and Bore gauge etc. is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture parts as per specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining operations.
  • Off set tools and prepare tools for CNC machines using HAAS controls, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for machining tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
