The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various CNC Machining Centres including Fanuc controls, Heidenhain, together with trouble shooting a wide variety of materials.

MUST HAVE 4-YEAR MILLING EXPERIENCE OF METAL PRECISION PARTS

• Skilled operator of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Machining Centres with Fanuc controls/ Heidenhain.
• Ability to perform complete set-ups with appropriate cutting tool selection.
• Thorough understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Experience managing small team in production machining environment an asset.
• Demonstrates a high level of mechanical aptitude and skill when manual handling machine parts.
• Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Trouble shooting abilities for work with a wide variety of materials.
• Log all work timelines and tasks in Epicor (ERP).
• Must be quality oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• Maintain positive working relationships when interacting with other plant personnel.
• Adheres to and maintains safe work practices, including WHMIS requirements.
• Adept at reading/understanding Production Sheets for completion of accurate parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).
