CNC MACHINE SETUP OPERATOR – FULL-TIME

Aerospace / Precision Machining
We are a experienced CNC machine shop in Montreal, specializing in precision aerospace components for Canadian and U.S. clients. We’re currently looking for a CNC Machine Setup Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines (e.g. Haas VF, ST series)
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Load tools, adjust offsets, verify dimensions, and make program edits as needed
  • Perform operation first-offs and ensure quality throughout the run
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain equipment cleanliness

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in CNC machining (setup + operation)
  • Strong understanding of G-code and ability to make minor program changes
  • Familiarity with aerospace tolerances and measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Ability to follow work instruction
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality

The knowledge of the English language is required to interpret instructions and technical requirements from the customer, which may be provided in English only.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
