CNC LATHE SETTER/PROGRAMMER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Setter/Programmer to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting, and programming various CNC turning machinery. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC technology, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Operating, setting, and programming all turning and lathe CNC machinery
• Working independently to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Proficiently using machinery such as Hardridge, Mazak, and Citizen
• Operating CNC machines with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Machining parts in diverse materials with tolerances up to 0.010mm / 10 microns
• Ensuring high-quality output and maintaining production schedules
• Troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues
• Performing regular maintenance on CNC equipment
• Collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimise processes
• Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
