JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to work with precision measuring instruments and various machining tools. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, a plus
  • Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM programming software.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
  • Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accurate part dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part quality.
  • Maintain tooling and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members in a lean manufacturing environment to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Assist in assembly tasks as needed, utilizing hand tools and power tools for various operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
