What You’ll Do: As a CNC Set-Up Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that machinery configurations are set accurately for high-quality output. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential for delivering precision parts to our clients. Responsibilities Include: Setting up and running a variety of CNC machines, including Vertical and Horizontal CNC machines, 9 Axis mill turn centers, and lathes. Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and CNC programs to ensure part precision. Performing tool wear offsets, changing tools, and resetting tool heights to maintain accuracy. Using geometric tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge to meet specifications. Inspecting parts with precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) to maintain quality standards. Calculating dimensions and tolerances, maintaining close tolerances, and adhering to high production standards. Performing routine cleaning and light maintenance on CNC machines to ensure a safe, organized workspace. Working collaboratively within a team environment and rotating through manufacturing processes as needed. #zr Requirements What You Bring: High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience with CNC set-up, preferably with a range of machine types. Strong math skills and experience with gauges, calipers, and other precision inspection tools. Ability to read blueprints and understand mechanical drawings.
