The Canmore Nordic Centre (CNC) is home to world class winter events and the Kananaskis Region of the Alberta Parks and is looking to fill seasonal Snowmaking Specialist positions for the winter season that runs from approximately early November 2025 to mid-January 2026.
These positions work mainly outdoors and include evening, night, and weekend shifts (with shift premium pay). All positions are contract terms.

HOW COMPETENCIES WILL APPLY TO THIS ROLE:
Agility: You will demonstrate self-initiative to take on additional tasks when conditions do not allow for maximized snow production operations.
Drive for Results: You will be responsible to meet timelines and objectives for snow production delivery programs.
Build Collaborative Environments: You will work with Snowmaking, Grooming and Event Teams, Shop Supervisor, your direct Supervisor and Management team to meet program outcomes.
Creative Problem-Solving: You will use your skills to effectively manage assignments with regards to snowmaking routes and address equipment mechanical or functional challenges.
