JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating CNC machinery, including CNC lathes and milling machines. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts by programming and operating CNC equipment, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience operating CNC SWISS-type lathes, preference will be given for CITIZEN machine experience
• Proficient in reading blueprints and working with precision measuring tools
• Familiarity with G-code and ONC Control Cystems (Fanuc + Mitsubishi)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Permanent resident of Canadian citizen only - must pass security assessment

  Pay: $21.00-$31.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 44 per week

• Set up and operate our Citizen Swiss-type lathes to produce precise components
• Interpret technical drawings and part specifications
• Make tool offsets and minor adjustments as needed to maintain quality
• Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure first-time-right-manufacturing
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety procedures
