Summary:
We are hiring a skilled CNC Swiss Style Lathe Machinist to run our 2020 and newer Citizen M and L series machines. Experience with Citizen LFV technology and B Axis machines is a major plus. This role can be on our second or third shift. You will have the opportunity to produce high precision medical instruments including drivers, reamers, and components for complex assemblies used in life transforming surgeries.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High School diploma or GED required
· 5 years related experience in department processes

Responsibilities

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Strong CNC Swiss setup and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Excellent mechanical inspection skills
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints with true position and profile callouts
  • Proven problem-solving skills with minimal support
  • A clean, efficient, and organized work style
  • Flexibility to adapt to lower volume production runs (25 to 50 pieces per order)
  • Required experience machining stainless steels including 17-4, 455, and 465

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate and set-up machines within the department.
  • Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
  • Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.
  • Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.
  • Assist with training of new team members and operators.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Adhere to company safety requirements.
  • Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.
