Our Warminster, PA (Philadelphia area) location is currently seeking Swiss Machinists who have experience in a production environment and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly.

We are a market-leading manufacturer of implants, specialty surgical instruments, cutting tools, and delivery systems for the orthopedic, sports medicine, trauma, extremities and other MedSurg applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Swiss screw machine
  • Monitor & maintain tool life
  • Load and unload parts per program
  • Inspect parts per print and in process documentation
  • Clear chips and maintain safe work environment
  • Preventative maintenance, as required

Experience and Skills

  • 3 to 5 years in machine shop environment (medical device experience a plus)
  • Proficient use of metrology equipment (i.e. micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Citizen machinery
  • Ability to read/understand blue prints
  • Set-up experience: setting tooling, adjusting offsets, necessary changes to produce a good first article piece

Other Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • GD&T preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in general math
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills

You should be proficient in:

  • GD&T
  • CNC Tooling
  • Troubleshooting Skills

Machines & technologies you’ll use:

  • CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma)
  • CNC Swiss Lathe (Citizen)
  • CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Index)
