This hands-on role focuses on developing machinists through structured training, coaching, and certification while maintaining ISO 9001 quality standards, safety, and continuous improvement. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to work your own schedule, full-time or part-time, making it ideal for a skilled CNC professional who enjoys mentoring others and applying their technical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CNC Training Specialist Responsibilities • Develop and deliver structured CNC training (setup, operation, programming) • Provide hands-on coaching across Mills, Turning, and Swiss machines • Train on tooling, probing, GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection techniques • Assess skill levels and track operator certification and readiness • Create and refine SOPs, work instructions, and training materials • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and improve productivity • Reinforce quality standards, waste reduction, and safe machine operation CNC Training Specialist Qualifications • 5+ years of CNC machining experience (setup, programming, operation) required • Strong experience in Milling, Turning, and/or Swiss environments required • Proficiency in CNC programming languages and CAM software required • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) required
