Our client, a manufacturing leader in the automotive sector is seeking a Bend Cell Set-Up technician to join their maintenance team.
Bend Cell Set-Up is accountable for setting-up & programing machinery according to customer requirements..

Experience:

• Bending Set Up: 1 year (required

• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and policies.
• Follow established production processes and carry out required quality inspections as specified in work orders and process sheets.
• Obtain orders from the Tool Room.
• Conduct tooling maintenance and replace consumables as required.
• Perform mechanical tool changes on automatic bending machines and other secondary equipment at workstations.
• Program or modify CNC bending machines, robots, and other secondary operation equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production equipment, focusing on calibration, machine malfunctions, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with bend cell operators to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
• Assist in training and supporting bend cell operators on the proper operation of benders, robots, automatic loaders, and secondary equipment.
• Communicate production updates and status reports to shift supervisors on a daily basis.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Your profile

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-6 months manufacturing experience
• Basic knowledge of tooling/tools and mechanically inclined.
• Good math skills; including correct use of measurement tools.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Demonstrated commitment to working.
• Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision.
• Good dexterity.
• Attention to detail.
