POSITION: CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator
SALARY: Starting at £13.16- £14.20 / hour with room for progression
BENEFITS: Company Pension
On-site parking

Cycle to work scheme
HOURS: 38 hour week days:
07:30-15:45 Mon to Thu
07:30-13:30 Fridays
Then after 1 year of progression, move onto rotating shifts, inclusive of an added £3.68 shift rate
38 hour week shifts (with shift pay):
06:00-14:15, 13:45-22:00 Mon to Thu
06:00-12:00, 12:00-18:00 Fridays

We have gained a global reputation for the quality and effectiveness for a wide range of quality products for industries including Oil & Gas, Subsea, Offshore, Nuclear Decommissioning, Aerospace, Construction and Military.
We currently have a vacancy for a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator that is qualified but at the start of their career and looking to progress and grow.
This is the ideal opportunity for a recently trained apprentice to move onto a thriving business which will allow them to grow and progress their skills. You will learn alongside some very skilled machinists and be expected to produce quality components.

Responsibilities

· Setting and operating CNC lathes using new and proven programs and tooling.
· Fanuc based machine experience
· Programming new parts using CAM software and conventional code
· Manual editing of past programs to improve efficiency and lead times.
· Evaluating new tooling solutions.
· Running multiple machines and working with multiple materials.
· Performing in process inspection using hand measuring equipment and CMM.
· Maintaining the machine on a daily basis including coolant conditioning to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
· Keeping the working area clean, tidy and organised.
