We have gained a global reputation for the quality and effectiveness for a wide range of quality products for industries including Oil & Gas, Subsea, Offshore, Nuclear Decommissioning, Aerospace, Construction and Military.
We currently have a vacancy for a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator with a good amount of experience. This is the ideal opportunity for a skilled operator with previous knowledge on chucking lathes.

· Setting and operating chucking CNC lathes using new and proven programs and tooling.
· Fanuc based machine experience
· Programming new parts using CAM software and conventional code
· Manual editing of past programs to improve efficiency and lead times.
· Evaluating new tooling solutions.
· Running multiple machines and working with multiple materials.
· Performing in process inspection using hand measuring equipment and CMM.
· Maintaining the machine on a daily basis including coolant conditioning to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
· Keeping the working area clean, tidy and organised.
· Training/ mentoring of new apprentices and new starters.
