CNC TURNER – SETTER / OPERATOR

Location: Hinckley
Hours: 37 per week, Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £39,040.68 per year
Shift Pattern: 37 hours per week – Rotating AM/PM – Monday to Thursday 06:00–13:45 / 13:45–01:30

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner (Setter/Operator)
• Familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens controls (or similar)
• Ability to select tools, fixtures, and programs from job setting sheets
• Confident in working to tight tolerances and maintaining quality standards
• Strong understanding of measurement and inspection tools
• Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines (Fanuc/Siemens controls)
• Select the appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job
• Manufacture high-quality components to precise specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Perform inspections using measurement tools and gauges
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
