We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated CNC Mill-Turn Machinist (Setup and Operate) to join our team and contribute to our continued success. Job Summary: The CNC Mill-Turn Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating complex Mill-Turn jobs, ensuring parts meet strict specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Cross-training opportunities may be available to expand your skills and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate complex Mill-Turn and turning jobs independently, ensuring parts conform to specifications. Adjust and modifications to tooling and programming as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining. Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial calipers, height gages, depth gages, and optical comparators. Maintain tight tolerances required for aerospace and power generation components. Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering to implement solutions. Maintain 5S practices on machines and in the work area; adhere to all safety protocols and wear protective equipment. Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement. Crosstrain and assist with other manufacturing duties, as necessary. Requirements Qualifications Physical ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, pull, push, sit, reach, and stand for up to 8 hours daily. High School Diploma, technical school degree, or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Lathe/Mill-Turn machines, with Okuma preferred. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement. Excellent work ethic, adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Team-oriented with a strong desire to succeed. Working Conditions: Second shift hours, typically 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM Monday through Friday. We offer a 2nd Shift Pay Differential Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
