SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and Yasa.
In addition to the high-volume existing business, we are also developing new production lines and processes for a range of new products including hydrogen power for transport, electric vehicles and the next generation of hybrid vehicles and trucks.
We are recruiting for the position of a CNC Turning Operator/Machinist, to set and run high precision and high value parts, to extremely tight tolerances.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Ideally the candidate should have 2 – 3 years’ experience as a CNC machinist ( experience with operating systems such as Fanuc a bonus) or have completed an apprenticeship in CNC machinery (Minimum Level 3)
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with personnel at all levels;
· You must be living and eligible to work in the UK to apply for this position.

· Replacing and setting cutting tools
· Selecting and changing programmes as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.
· Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
· Recording measurements on computer using SPC control, and monitoring OEE
