AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable time served Turner / general operative to join their team.
Specialising the worlds longest established supplier of compression tooling in the pharmaceutical sector.
Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents and subject to a DBS check.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ARE REQUIRED FOR THE CNC TURNER / GENERAL OPERATIVE TECHNICIAN ROLE:

  • Setting and programming machinery using Fanuc control panels
  • Productive running of machinery
  • Meeting standards of quality procedures
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical reports
  • Able to work to minimal supervision
  • Industry knowledge and experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE CNC TURNER / GENERAL OPERATIVE ROLE:

An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable
Minimum 2 years turning experience
