POSITION SUMMARY:

The CNM 2 for Major Emergency Planning at Beaumont Hospital will play a pivotal role in ensuring the hospitals preparedness and effective response to major incidents, mass casualty events and internal incidents. This role involves coordinating the development, implementation and evaluation of the hospitals Major Emergency Plan and Internal Incident Plan and is in aligned with national guidelines, hospital policies and statutory requirements.
The CNM will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, emergency services and external agencies to ensure seamless integration of clinical operational and logistical responses during emergency situations. The CNM will oversee staff training needs, simulation exercises and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a high level of readiness.
