The post of CNM / Senior Nurse has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.

Beech Lodge Care Facility is an elderly care facility just outside Limerick City. We have 66 beds. The successful candidate should be used to working in a busy environment and must be meticulous about record keeping. Staff training and quality improvement initiatives will be a key part of the role.

The CNM / Senior Nurse should be a Senior Registered Nurse who has management experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the running of care activities within the Care Facility environment and the provision of training, guidance to all care staff. They will also support the supervision process by carrying out audits and maintaining logs of same.
