About Us ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc About the Role You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery. To be successful in this role, you will have: • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification. • Minimum of 2 years (full time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years. • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery. About Creswell Clinic Creswell Clinic is located at Jervis Bay at HMAS Creswell on the east coast of NSW. Approximately a 20-minute drive from its sister base HMAS Albatross, the Creswell Clinic provides primary medical, nursing, mental health and physiotherapy services. It also supports the bi-annual intake of New Entry Officer Cadets and services up to 3200 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday to Friday.
