About ADF Health Services In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 40+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team. About Albatross Health Centre The Albatross Health Centre is located at Nowra on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney CBD. HMAS Albatross is the largest operational naval establishment in Australia and the Navy’s only air station. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, nursing and pharmaceutical services to up to 1500 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday-Friday, with medical officers on-call for aviation retrievals. Your Impact We are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a permanent part time capacity, working 2 x days per week - Wednesday and Thursday 0730 to 1530. As a Medical Officer, you will: Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel Assess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical support Provide medical technical advice to Defence leadership Work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed What You’ll Need Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration Minimum 2 years’ full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years Australian Citizen – for Baseline Security Clearance requirements Why Join Us?
