Located on a 20,000-hectare base, it comprises of a 41-bed inpatient ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Holsworthy base is also home to the Defence Force Correctional Establishment where detainees are visited by RNs daily. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements, and base location you may be required for weekend and on-call shifts). What you’ll do Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members Occ Med environment Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care Additional information: Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Provide Occupational Medicine services Civilian role – no enlistment required Fixed Term Full Time opportunity available Who we are Serco supports more than 12,000 professionals across Asia Pacific, delivering essential services in defence, health, justice, and beyond.
