Industrial IoT in the multi-trillion dollar global construction industry is growing rapidly and condition monitoring is a pivotal aspect of construction technology. At the crossroad of IoT and construction technology is our next venture which aims to revolutionize how the compressive strength of concrete’s slabs is being tested by using IoT sensors. We dive deep into IoT technologies to lead the development of our cutting-edge construction monitoring technology designed in-house at NBT.
Now, we are looking for you to be that exceptional Co-Founder/ CEO, who is passionate about building businesses and teams, to lead and own the end-to-end success of this disruptive IoT startup!

These will be your tasks

  • Leverage your network to identify the initial customer opportunities and bring the company to market
  • Drive business development and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle
  • Negotiate and manage entire complex sales-cycles, often presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers
  • Oversee the successful implementation of projects, and develop internal processes to drive scalability
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with industrial partners and manufacturers
  • Engage with customers to collect feedback and prioritize future features
  • Build the team’s culture and evangelize the company’s mission

You’re offering these qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years in the construction industry with hands-on experience in sales/contract negotiation/partnerships
  • Deep network in the construction industry in Europe and/or Asia
  • Demonstrated success €m partnerships, negotiating deals and sales pipelines
  • Familiarity with concrete testing; familiarity with smart construction solutions, concrete maturity testing technologies is a huge plus
  • Must possess expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation techniques
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Natural team manager & a leader with strong go-getter mentality
