The Pratt & Whitney Customer Support Engineering (CSE) organization is looking for a Data and AI Co-Op to join the team Pratt & Whitney is looking for new ways to leverage AI to provide value to our customers and our employees. In this role, you will work with a cross functional to consider, develop, and implement AI driven projects for current processes and data to improve key metrics of accuracy, accessibility, and issue resolution turn-around time. What You Will Do: Gain knowledge on data, data process, and data flow for the 5th Gen CSE organization. Understand sources, connections, content, and use of data in our key processes such as field support, data analysis, and software and hardware development support Gain knowledge on RTX AI tools. Research and develop ways to leverage AI to improve data flow, data access, and data visualization for key processes such as failure and reliability reviews and responding to customer issues Assist in developing, testing, and deploying a machine learning model Support the development of automation tools to improve data collection and issue reporting. Colloborate with team members on documentation, report generation and presentations to brief upper management and users on new processes and tools. Qualifications You Must Have: Enrolled in a degree program in computer science, data science, or related engineering or technical field Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java with the ability to build and modify scripts for processing data Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Pandas and Excel. Strong analytical problem-solving skills; and communication skills, including verbal, and technical writing. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
