RVA is looking for Civil Engineering Students to join the Municipal team on a 6-8-12-16-months full-time contract in various locations.
This position will begin approximately in May 2025 and can be based out of our offices located in Toronto/Halton/Waterloo.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be currently enrolled in a third or fourth-year Civil Engineering program at an accredited University.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation is an asset.
- Demonstrates superior communication skills - both oral and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
- Must have a valid Class G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in pre-engineering site surveys and inspection during construction.
- Design of roads, rail, sewers, watermains and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Help prepare AutoCAD/MicroStation design drawings.
- Provide office support during the construction stage of projects.
- Assist with quantity calculations and preparing tender documents.
- Aid the RVA team to ensure quality project delivery to our clients.
