We are seeking a student for the 2025 Summer Term, to be based in our Halifax area (Bedford) location, as follows:
Job Title: Junior Business Associate
Location: 486 Starboard Drive, Bedford, NS B3M 0N6
Term: May 05th, 2025 - August 25th, 2025 / 40 hours per week
Program of Study: Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship. Minor in Information Technology, Communications - is a plus
Education Level: Open to undergraduate students, including those in their first Co-op term

REQUIREMENTS:

Basic understanding of business analysis and business development principles.
Familiarity with business strategy and planning.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools.
Experience or coursework related to business analysis, market research, or business development is an asset.
Familiarity with challenges in the digital customer experience industry and marketing digital platforms (DXP) is a plus.
Be enrolled in the Co-op program with your institution.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF ROLE, DUTIES & KEY TASKS:

Assisting in analysing business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Supporting the development and implementation of business strategies and plans.
Conducting market research and competitive analysis to support business development efforts.
Collaborating with team members to develop and present business proposals and reports.
Participating in meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights.
Contributing to the creation of business documentation, including process maps and project plans.
Performing various business administrative tasks
Engaging with Content Bloom’s social media platforms and creating content to enhance online presence.
Developing business case studies to showcase successful projects and strategies.
