YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Our Halifax office is looking for Co-ops or Intern Students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team starting from January to April 2026 .
This role will offer experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing).

The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities :

  • Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement
  • Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
  • Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Assisting other departments when needed with various Accounting functions (Tax/Assurance/Financial Reporting and Insights).

Your experience and education

  • You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting
  • You are interested in long term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team
  • You may have experience or certifications with Quickbooks , Xero and/or Sage
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skill
