OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a Project Analyst with UHN Digital’s Data and Implementation Science team and specifically within the Digital Efficiency Program. This program is an integrated group of initiatives with the objective to optimize the use of business facing technology in an effort to drive efficiencies for UHN business units and in the delivery of UHN digital services. Current projects focus on delivering a Managed Print Service solution for the enterprise and automating Housekeeping & Transportation services in hospitals. The Digital Efficiency Program is constantly scoping out efficiency and cost-saving initiatives to be incorporated into the Digital Efficiency program roadmap.
We are seeking a bold, creative, and innovative individual who can assist the Project Manager in various types and phases of digital projects including data analytics, change management, implementation, and operational handovers.
In your role, you will bring help the team to gather requirements and deploy technologies solutions in a clinical setting.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Basic knowledge of project management and applicable industry experience working on projects that support client groups such as Health Care, Pharmaceutical, Finance, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven research and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (e.g. presentation and report writing)
  • Team players who are highly self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision resulting in strong project and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of PC applications. Experience with the Microsoft Office 2000 Suite (including MS Project, Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) preferred
  • Clinical background and/or experience in the healthcare field would be an asset
