Description

To serve the Commonwealth and collaborate on the implementation and enforcement of DEQs regulatory programs to ensure fair and consistent application of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. This position will have a strong emphasis on construction stormwater cases but may also work with water, solid waste, hazardous waste, air, UST/AST, groundwater, and the Virginia Water Protection Program. In addition to the qualifications listed below, this position requires extensive construction stormwater knowledge and experience. Certifications for stormwater and erosion and sediment control inspection and plan review are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

This position involves collaborating on the implementation and enforcement of DEQ's regulatory programs. A strong emphasis will be placed on construction stormwater cases, along with other environmental areas.
