Description
This position will assist in the operation and maintenance of the Agency's 88 surface water gauging station network to include the installation of new gauging stations. This is an hourly/wage position and is not entitled to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s state benefits package. This position is limited to no more than 1500 hours in a 12-month period and averages no more than 29 hours a week.  This position may require you to operate a state owned or leased vehicle. Therefore, a valid driver's license is required. Please note this position follows a hybrid work schedule to include both in-office and telework. Candidates must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia.  
Responsibilities
Assist in the operation, maintenance, and installation of the Agency's surface water gauging station network. Perform field work including manual labor and the use of construction tools to maintain monitoring equipment.
