Advanced Bending Technologies is looking for an experienced and energetic Coater Helper to join our Coating Department in Calgary Alberta.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verballing and in writing
  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Fork Lift Operation or certification as asset
  • Paint/Coating experience an asset
  • Quality management system knowledge: Production, receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control.
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new things and take on new responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Interpret work orders
  • Prepare, paint, and coat product
  • Assists Coater in applying rubber or pyroxylin coatings
  • Handle raw material and finished product as needed, clean coating materials
  • Perform production bending after setup completed
  • Perform other shop duties including torch cutting, saw cutting, washing, sand filling, etc.
  • Measure and inspect in-process and finished product
  • Label and package finished product as needed
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of coating equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Works as member of a team to operate and clean range
  • Work in accordance with the quality management system & complete all applicable quality records
  • Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
