JOB SUMMARY:

The Coating Operator in Nisku, Alberta will be responsible for the internal coating of used tubulars and related goods. Work is physical in nature and includes tasks such as: cleaning, blasting, and coating pipe, operating an overhead crane and related equipment.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Partial high school education with the ability to read, write and speak a minimum amount of English to perform job duties
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service
  • Standard First Aid and H2S Alive training preferred

HSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work is performed in a shop environment. Possibility to be exposed to dust, fumes or gases and changes of temperature/humidity.
  • Physical requirements: squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 23 kilograms, walking on rough ground, and working near moving equipment.
  • Required to at all times wear proper protective clothing and equipment and perform duties in a safe manner.
