• Exhibit strength understanding client’s business
• Apply the understanding of the client’s business & systems implementation and translate the business requirements into technology solutions
• Possess strong COBOL/DB2 skills and has experience designing complex system solutions
• Apply knowledge of COBOL, Java, DB2, and JCL technologies to perform system impact analysis and prepare detailed system design deliverables
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate with other team members to develop the solution
• Ensures all requirements are addressed for each component in construction
• Actively participates in design and documentation
• Constructs, unit tests, and integration tests assigned components
• Adhere to the software development life cycle processes including coordinating activities with clients, system interface partners, and other project teams including testers, architects, developers, and database administrators
• Support production operations by researching production incidents, proposing and implementing corrective actions
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
