Description

Study design, development and support of mission critical business applications using formal software engineering and project management methodologies. Perform System and Requirement Analysis, identifying strategies for application design for life Insurance products development on Mainframe Vantage. Performing Design and writing technical design documents, test plans and system interface documents. Technical activities include developing code in (COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, Webservices CICS) technologies on Mainframe and Microfocus, testing based on the requirements which got from the clients upon the product/system enhancement. Coordinating with offshore team on daily basis and help understand the business requirements and new applications. Perform code and design reviews to ensure that the deliverables adhere to the project guidelines and specifications. Providing SIT and UAT support and production roll outs. Perform architect design for system enhancements and application design on Vantage and Interfacing Applications. To involve in technical design review for new life and Annuity Product development and enhancements. Technical activities include developing code in (COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, Webservices CICS) Mainframe technologies. Coordinating with an offshore team on daily basis and help understand the business requirements and solutions. To work extensively at Offshore/Onsite and familiar with onsite - offshore model Experience with COBOL, VSAM, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF , DB2, CICS Webservices and other Mainframe tools Experience with life product development on Vantage Mainframe. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Minimum 8 years of experience as a Mainframe Vantage Programmer on life product development
