Job Details Job Location: 100 LEGENDS BAY DRIVE - SPARKS, NV 89434 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Job Shift: Day Job Category: Beverage Service Job Description: The Cocktail Server will provide beverage service in a manner which ensures excellent customer service and a professional environment resulting in increased customer loyalty. Job Requirements: Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly and timely manner. Promote and record orders for drinks, reciting selections of all “call”, and “premium” brands as requested, pass on order to Bartender, properly garnish and deliver to customer in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness of guest areas. Maintain exceptional knowledge of bar recipes, preparing cocktails and other drinks including wine and beer. Check identification of guests in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience: Highschool diploma/GED. Previous cocktail service experience preferred. Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must comply with all health codes and regulations. Knowledge of casino environment preferred. Thorough knowledge of liquor and cocktail service. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be flexible and able to work all shifts and weekends. Must have and maintain an Alcohol Compliance or TIPS training. Must have the ability to responsibly monitor alcohol consumption to ensure the safety of our guests. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
