POSITION SUMMARY:

Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Bartender position mixes and serves alcohol and other beverages based on guest requests. The Bartender demonstrates knowledge and ability in the art of mixology - it’s the combination of the “show” and the “drink” that brings guests back. The Bartender is responsible for exceeding guests’ expectations by providing friendly and caring service!

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be 21+ years of age to apply
  • Prior craft cocktail experience in high volume restaurant or bar
  • Strong level of emotional intelligence and overall self-awareness.
  • Must obtain required licenses and certifications per state and/or local requirements
  • Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.
  • Safely and effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the venue, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
  • Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, and occasionally move and lift up to 30 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Bring your ‘A’ Game every day.
  • Greet guests with a warm invite and sincere smile.
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and instructions
  • Stock/restock appropriate bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice, garnishes, and supplies.
  • Follow all steps of service to effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining area.
  • Anticipate guests needs and show attentiveness to ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations
  • Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions
  • Safely and effectively transport food and beverage.
  • Keep areas tidy and comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
  • Give direction to barbacks and be a team player
  • Successfully complete alcohol awareness training
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook
  • Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
