Join as a Cocktail Waitress in our Food & Beverage Team and be part of the fun and excitement. What you will be doing * Takes orders and serves beverage items to guests in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner using suggestive selling techniques. * Serves food to guests. * Ensures that guests are served in accordance to State and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol, including checking identification. * Determines when a guest has had too much alcohol and contacts the manager on duty or security for assistance. * Is able to take care of several orders at once. * Describes all beverage items, prices and methods of preparation. * Controls guest checks to secure proper payment. * Maintains an opening and closing check list. * Answers general customer inquiries as needed. * All other duties as assigned. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION * High School Diploma preferred. * 2+ years of previous experience working as a Cocktail Server preferred. * Strong knowledge of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. * Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. * Excellent communication skills. * Must be able to lift trays of beverage items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis * Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours. * Enthusiastic and energetic. * Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. * Will be required to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays. * May be required to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted. * Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check. * Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.
