Christopher’s American bar and grill is a fast-growing, locally owned company that is excited to serve the people of London. We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic waiter or waitress to join our team. Our focus is to deliver exceptional service and make cocktails at the highest standarts. What we are looking for is someone who would be able to freely communicate with customers, able to give recommendations on the dishes.
Duties
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and serve drinks promptly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for customers
- Provide excellent guest service and address customer inquiries or concerns
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Knowledge of culinary terms, ingredients, and food preparation techniques is a plus
